I have eaten more food in the past 2 days then i ever want to eat again... yesterday we had a lunch appt with a potential investigator that went really well, the guy loved our church and said he will come to church on saturday. I got this stuff called jjaajamyon its a noodle dish with black sauce. i had had it before and it was good, so i thought i'd try it again. So i tell the guy that we were with that i would have jjaajamyon, and he ordered a "special" type for me, i was expecting it to be the same as before...... then the lady brought out my food, it was noodles and that black sauce, plus shrimp, squid, and some other unidentifiable sea creatures... it was interesting. and i had to eat it, because koreans get really offended if you don't eat there food, especially if they are buying for you. so i ate there, then for dinner we went to costco,and i got a bulgogi bake, its like the chicken bake in the costcos back home. and i also got a hot dog. so i ate that and was really full, then we went and taught our english class at 7o'clock and the people in the advanced class decided after class that we should all go back to costco and eat because they were hungry. so we went bake to costco. they all threw in money and bought alot of food for everyone. but since we teach the english class for free and don't make money as missionaries they decided they would buy 2 pizzas, 3 bulgogi bakes and drinks and the whole shibang. Koreans do something americans don't do, they feed you, saying you are full doesn't work here, so i ended up eating 2 pieces of pizza another bulgogi bake, part of a salad, and 20 oz. of grape soda. 3 and a half hours after i ate my self sick the first time. i wanted to die. then today, one of the people elder fisher baptized a while back decided to take us to a meat buffet, and i was still full from yesterday. the problem was if i didn't eat a rediculous amount ate this nice meat buffet, then it would be really rude. so i'm sitting there eating and the lady that took us there decided i was eating too slow, so she started feeding me... it wasn't a fun as it sounds but it was still good. not too much happened this past week, although i did get eaten alive in my sleep by mosquitoes, i woke up with atleast 10 bites yesterday, the good news is the mosquitoes will all die soon because it is starting to get cold. I bought some things that i needed, like soap shampoo, a blanket ect. so dad i'm sorry i have used your card so much this week, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.from tonight until saturday night we have a big openhouse at the church that our ward here is doing, all the missionaries in the zone are coming to youngdongpo (my area) to help with it. they are hoping a few thousand people will come to it. i'll explain it more next week, cause even now i'm not so sure what to do.
